Dr. Mervin Manuel, MD, is a highly experienced and board-certified pediatrician with 28 years of practice in the field. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Dr. Manuel is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care to children. Born and raised in the Philippines, he graduated from medical school there before completing his pediatric residency training at Mount Sinai-Elmhurst in New York.
Throughout his career, Dr. Manuel has expanded his expertise by engaging in various aspects of pediatric medicine, including roles as a pediatric and newborn hospitalist, as well as serving as clinical faculty for both pediatric and family medicine residency programs. However, he finds his greatest fulfillment in outpatient practice, where he enjoys building long-lasting relationships with his patients and their families.
Dr. Manuel has a special interest in newborn medicine, dedicating much of his career to the care of infants in their earliest stages of life. His extensive training and experience in this area allow him to provide expert care for newborns, ensuring a strong foundation for their health and development.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Manuel is happily married for 28 years to his wife, a family medicine physician. Together, they have two adult children, a golden retriever, and a cat. He loves to cook and experiment with different cuisines, and he and his family share a passion for traveling, exploring new cultures, and experiencing the diverse ways of life around the world. With his rich experience and deep commitment to his patients, Dr. Manuel continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
