Jearlean Ruiz-Marin, Psy.D.

Jearlean Ruiz, PsyD, is a skilled psychologist at Angel Kids Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Amelia Island, and Saint Johns, Florida. 

Dr. Ruiz grew up in Puerto Rico and received her bachelor’s in Psychology and Mental Health from the University of Puerto Rico in 2007. She completed her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with a certificate in couples and family therapy from the Ponce Health Sciences University, also in Puerto Rico. 

Dr. Ruiz has over three years of postdoctoral experience in assessing and diagnosing Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disorders, Anxiety, and Depression, among other mental health disorders in the pediatric population. She has extensive training in evidence-based therapy models such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Applied Behavioral Analysis.
