Olivia Hernandez-Gonzalez, LP, NCSP, TF-CBT, PCIT, is a licensed psychologist at Angel Kids Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Amelia Island, and Saint Johns, Florida. She is a certified trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy specialist and certified in parent-child interaction therapy.
Dr. Hernandez-Gonzalez grew up in Cuba, speaking fluent English and Spanish. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Florida (UNF) in Jacksonville with a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology. She attended the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, where she obtained several graduate degrees in School Psychology.
Dr. Hernandez-Gonzalez completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at the prestigious Munroe-Meyer Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln. Her work includes assessment and therapy services for multiple disorders in children and adolescents in hospitals, primary care clinics, and schools. She has also received extensive training in administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) and has many years of experience in evaluation, assessment, and psychotherapy. After completing her training, she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, and joined the Angel Kids Pediatrics team.
Dr. Hernandez-Gonzalez feels passionate about promoting integrated behavioral health in pediatric primary care, increasing access to mental health services for families of diverse backgrounds, and has been a change-maker and leader in normalizing treatment for mental health services.
She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and enjoying the beautiful Florida weather in her spare time.
