Angel Kids Pediatrics - Meet Our Providers
 Ashraf Affan, M.D.After finishing his residency training at Nassau University Medical Center, a major affiliate of State University of New York, Dr. Affan served for one year as the chief resident in his residency program. He was selected by the hospital administration and his peers for the quality of leadership and academic performance. During his residency training, Dr. Affan received the 2001 Beth Seaton Award for the best resident of the year. His extensive international experience is the groundwork for his approach. During his medical education, he was an active member and student leader of the International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA). He worked as a consultant for many international projects aiming at the welfare of children around the globe and gained first hand knowledge of just about every disease and condition that newborns, children, and adolescents can face. "I saw the global 'big picture' of the need for pediatricians to be involved not only with the child but also with the child's immediate family and extended family-the community. I learned that you must do more than treat ill and undernourished children-you must educate the parents and the community to instill in them the idea of preventative care."

 Jami Webster, M.D.Dr. Webster grew up in Oklahoma and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with degrees in Chemistry and Medical Biology. She served the University of Oklahoma Department of Microbiology as a researcher for one year, then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. There she was a member of the Dean's Advisory Council and Senator Boren's President's Advisory Board. After graduation, she was a pediatric Intern and Resident at Primary Dr. Webster strives to make children and families feel comfortable while in the office and finds creative ways to have them take part in their own check-ups. Her goal is to get to know each family in order to better provide individualized care. She says, "It's my job to educate families so their children can grow up happier and healthier. I want children with healthy minds and bodies. Teaching families to balance work, play, diet and exercise is essential to this goal." She has two beautiful, energetic daughters, Emma 11 and Olivia 9. Her girls love to dance, so she is truly a "dance mom." In their spare time, Dr. Webster and her daughters enjoy daily dance parties at home and love to play outside. They love life in Jacksonville and spend as much time as possible in the water. |
 Camille Gorden, ARNPCamille attended the University of Florida where she obtained her BSN in nursing in 2007. She had 3 years of experience as a floor RN in pediatric Cardiology, Hematology/Oncology, and Medical/Surgical nursing before practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA in 2008. Camille has been working with Angel Kids since December 2010. She really enjoys working with children and has special interest in Hematology and Oncology. Camille is married with no children and two dogs. Camille and her husband enjoy the beach, boating and playing soccer. |
